1- unconscience incompetence- you don't know how bad you are.
2- conscience incompetence- you know you suck, and need to work on it
3- conscience competence- you're getting it, but you have to think about it
4- unconscience competence- you dont have to think about the skill, The Master Yoda class.

Do several draws a day before work. Practice low-light techniques, holster w/o looking at the holster (you would be amazed how many people don't know where their holster is). Do all of the work related activities a few times before shift, get the 'muscle memory' programmed, and keep practicing.

Then one day you might reach the fifth level- the Marsupial level, turning 1911's and M4's from instruments of my will to extenstions of my will.

And if you cant reach that illusive "5th" level, hide behind the closest "5th" level you can find and let him extend his will while you toss him your mags.

I found it as a psych concept and there is a place out west that claims it (copyright).
